Mark Amadeus Flowerdew joins his father Gordon Flowerdew for Lenten hymns at St. Thomas Anglican Church for the Sunday, March 15, Lent V service. He’s also planning to play a solo during holy communion. Mark writes gospel folk-pop bursting with wit and whimsy while exploring unexpected facets of a life following Jesus.

Mark released the album Lenten Carols (2016), followed by the ECMA-nominated album Let’s Go (2021). Mark also composes for various media and leads music programs at nursing homes. He will be presenting his Lenten Carols concerts on Saturday, March 28 at Aurora Church at 5666 Sebastian Street, in Halifax and on Sunday, March 29th at Grace chapel at 255 Ross Street, Halifax, with both events beginning at 7 p.m. Get a taste of his gifts at St. Thomas’ 10:30 a.m. Sunday service on March 15th.
