The Parish of St. Thomas and St. Margaret’s is blessed to support the vital outreach of St. George’s Soup Kitchen, a long-standing ministry of hospitality in Halifax. Four times each year, our parish provides both hot meals and volunteers, helping to serve some of our city’s most vulnerable neighbours.

Through hearty food, kind conversation, and a welcoming presence, this ministry offers dignity, comfort, and compassion to those experiencing hunger, hardship, or isolation. Our participation continues to be a meaningful way for our parish family to live out Christ’s call to serve others with love.
